Discover this amazing Himalayan gem of a country on a fun "multi-adventure" trip. Our trip includes hiking to the beautiful Tiger's Nest Monastery, the stunning 5 day Druk Path Trek, rafting the turquoise waters of the Po Chhu River, with optional mountain biking. The highlight of this adventure, the Druk Path Trek, follows a high ridge line with stunning Himalayan views. The Druk Path is an ancient trekking route, formerly used by villagers traveling from Paro valley to Thimpu valley. Along the Druk Path we visit an ancient dzong still inhabited by monks, we meet yak herders in high summer pastures and we camp by mystical lakes full of mountain trout. Our journey will be enhanced by our Bhutanese friends, who along the way will guide us through the amazing temples and cultural sites of this magical country. In an effort to keep this small country pristine and mysterious, the Bhutanese Government strictly regulates entrance into Bhutan. This trip can be booked at any time throughout the year, however, for best views we recommend spring or fall.

| Our Mountain & Monastery Journey combines Bhutan's fascinating cultural attractions with adventure in the Himalaya. The "Land of the Thunder Dragon" will enchant you with its natural beauty and peaceful pace. Fluttering prayer flags, red chilies drying on rooftops, yellow mustard fields and green rice paddies make for a kaleidoscope of color. As we visit the different valleys of Bhutan, we will see snow drenched Himalayan Peaks with turquoise waters draining the river valleys. We will witness things only seen in Bhutan, including the amazing Buddhist festival (Tsechu) in Bhumtang and the winter habitat of the Black Necked Cranes. This itinerary is uniquely Mountain Spirit's! You will be accompanied personally by our experienced Bhutanese guides, staying in hotels and lodges along the way (no camping). Along with cultural activities, we will have options every day for exercise; day hikes, culture walks, etc. The "Land of the Thunder Dragon" is the experience of a lifetime!
