Mountain Spirits owner Pete Patterson has been guiding heli-skiing in Greenland now since 2000. The 2010 season will be his eleventh season in Greenland!! It would be hard for you to find a person who has skied more runs in Greenland than Mr. Pete Patterson. With Pete's extensive knowledge of every fjord, mountain and ski run in southern Greenland, you cannot go wrong! You can choose your week to be either lodge based or base out of our heli-ski boat, KISAQ. The Kisaq has become a unique addition to our season in Greenland! On the Kisaq we can travel to many new and remote fjords and enjoy the endless skiing that Greenland offers! Both of our trips (Maniitsoq Hotel or Kisaq) are some of the most unique ski trips in the world, but the KISAQ definitely offers the creme de le creme of Greenland's skiing.
Intermediate and expert skiers will find the terrain and challenges they desire. Ski Touring groups are also welcome! On weather days, recreation options include snowmobile skiing, sea kayaking, fishing, snowshoeing, and ski touring. On the glacier runs, you will feel safe with Pete as his experience level in Greenland is unsurpassed.
