There is no better way to finish off a great trek in the Himalaya than a relaxing time on the beach in Thailand! For those of you who are interested in climbing, Thailand offers all levels from beginner to expert. This trip will take us from the famous climbing area of Railay Beach & Tonsai to little known Koh Yao Noi. On rest days we will sea kayak, snorkel and explore the many uninhabited islands of this gorgeous area in the Andaman Sea. Back by popular demand, we are offering this amazing journey for the 4th year in a row! Untouched culture such as this is becoming more & more difficult to find in today's westernized world! On this trek we travel through an amazing Tibetan style desert, red rock landscape, ancient villages, centuries old Buddhist monasteries all highlighted by 8000 meter snow drenched peaks (including Annapurna I~10th highest in the world & Dhauligiri (7th highest).
In the Trekker's Guide to the Himalaya, the late Hugh Swift wrote “the most striking element of Mustang...is it’s landscape: sandstone pillars rise near old moraines, and time and again trails angle up and down over barren, eroded ridges and high terraces. Mustang’s pastel shadings, hues of red, yellow, sienna, tan, and grey, undergo dramatic changes in lighting throughout the day.”
Time is truly standing still in Mustang. This is one of the most well preserved “Tibetan” areas outside of Tibet that we have visited. On our journey through Mustang we will be camping, and our gear carried by ponies. We will have our full kitchen staff and local trekking guides to lead the way.
Do not miss the chance to see untouched Mustang and join Mountain Spirits on one of our all time favorite trekking journeys!

The Everest area is truly amazing. Pete calls it the "nicest piece of real estate on earth!" This unique trek takes us through the heart of the Everest area and off on it's many side trails & high passes. Our journey begins in Lukla. From here we will trek up to Pangboche on the main Everest trail, with a stop in Tengboche to visit the infamous monastery there & spend some time with the monks while they are chanting. From here we will head to Dingboche, where we will spend 3 days exploring the high points and amazing views of this area. Here we will be able to trek as high as 17,000 ft with amazing views of Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and others. After Dingboche, we will trek to Ama Dablam basecamp, which is located at the base of Ama Dablam, one of the most beautiful peaks in the Everest area (and the world for that matter!). From here we will trek high on the mountain and to Mingmo La, where we will be away from crowds and surrounded by unsurpassed Himalayan views.
This is a camping trek. Our gear will be carried by pack animals and we will enjoy the full support of our kitchen & trekking staff, who are family to us & will be to you after this trip! This journey is rated strenuous. Our highest sleeping elevation will be approximately 15,000 feet and our highest trekking point up to 18,000 feet. Contact us for more information!
