| Magical Mustang 2011 |
|
|  Yet another fabulous trip to the Kingdom of Mustang. Despite the road that is going in through this area, Mustang is still a great trip. The friendly nature of the locals are what make this trip so terrific along with the typically dry weather, stunning mountain views and dramatic landscape. This is one of the best journeys you can do in Nepal....or anywhere for that matter! |

 This year we were lucky enough to be trekking with our nephew, Bjorn Kallerud. Bjorn is a sophomore at UCSB in California. Mustang was his first trek in Nepal. Everyone loved having Bjorn around, especially Pete (who he routinely beat in cards) and our "boys," Tek, Dendi and Janga. (Oh, and the village kids...as you can see here!) |
